I havent seen all the broadcast networks…but seems NBC has a monopoly…and in doing so…I would think they would do a bang up job not just in the USA but all over the world. in my opinion they just show they are all about the money

I have watched a lot of the events on Peacock…nbc streaming service…when the major players…say in the mens downhill…have skied through…and it is pretty obvious who the gold medal winner is…and yet there are 7 more skiers to go …NBC cuts away from the action and tells me if I want to watch the rest of the runs and the medal ceremony…I can do so by tuning into the World feed…and I do…I just think the way NBC handles these events…sometimes it is just disrespectful

So peacock NBC CBC BBC ZDF in Germany are what I have watched Olympic broadcasts on …as well as the world feed…which I think they do a bang up job…But If I am going to rank these…It would be ZDF in germany number 1…Peacock…as long as I can get the world feed…CBC is very good especially for ice hockey . and NBC just edges out the BBC.

NBC just has too much fluff . Some of their pieces are informative especially when they have experts on who can explain situations going on in events…Explaining hockey and curling and the physics of doing a quad axle . I do like it…but too many commercials.. I just like the events…Sometimes 2 events are running simultaneously…so with peacock…I can watch one live…and catch the other on a replay at my own leisure…I appreciate that

I am ranting and it will be sad when the Olympics wrap up in a week . But I am older and often wake up at 4 a.m. it is nice to turn on tv at that time and watch live Olympic coverage.

But just some things I see at the Olympics that makes me …or others think

I loved seeing SnoopDog at the mixed curling event wringing his cowbell

I loved Ilia Malinin owning up to his failure…it was brave of him to consent to the interview after his skate….and he just said…I blew it

My good friend has issues with skiers…and sliders both skeleton and luge and bobsled…winning by .02 seconds….they feel if they are within a second of the winning time…it is a tie

funny how even in the same region…Alpine skiers are skiing and snow coming down heavy…while cross country skiers are doing so in the rain

Love how the Italian athletes are overperforming…that is really a bad word…lets just say I am glad to see them doing so well

speaking of bad words…penultimate would be one…it sounds like it should be great…but just means 2nd to last

So I really dont know who has the best coverage because I am a Winter Olympics junky…I get it from wherever I can.
